The Gleeble 1500 is a legacy physical simulation system that set the standard for thermo-mechanical testing of materials, enabling researchers and manufacturers to accurately simulate real-world thermal and mechanical conditions. Though now discontinued, the Gleeble 1500 remains a benchmark in materials testing, offering reliable insights into metal behavior, process optimization, and high-temperature performance.

While we will make every effort to continue to service these platforms, we can no longer guarantee the availability of component parts.

For example, many Gleeble 1500 users have found the Gleeble 500 Series or the Gleeble 3180 to be ideal fits for their needs because it represents a modest investment while still delivering world-class performance.
The Gleeble 3180 is an 8 ton, 1 meter/sec machine featuring a full digital control system, and accurate control of thermal and mechanical parameters as well as virtually bumpless transitions. Applications include weld HAZ, hot ductility, melting and controlled solidification, phase transformation studies as well as various heat treatment studies.
