Contract Testing at HQ

Partnering with you to advance innovation, one test at a time

DSI happily offers Materials Testing and Simulation Service on a limited contract basis. For researchers who need specialized material characterization data, but lack the equipment or funding required to obtain such information on their own, our Gleeble materials testing and simulation service  can provide the unique testing capabilities not readily obtained from traditional testing platforms. With any test provided by Gleeble all testing information is confidential, and will never be shared outside of the lab. Some of the tests currently available through this program include:

In this program our Gleeble experts will assist in the development of testing strategies to ensure the best simulation data is provided. After the testing strategy has been determined, our team of Gleeble experts will perform the tests and collect raw data on the behavior of the materials being tested. This raw data is then compiled and sent to you. This report may include visual aids to help you understand the results. If you have any questions or concerns about the data, a follow-up call can be arranged to discuss the results in more detail and answer any lingering questions.

Gleeble tests offer unparalleled accuracy and precision, and have the ability to simulate a wide range of conditions, making it an ideal tool for studying the behavior of materials under extreme conditions (our systems can test from -150C to 3000C). With this new materials testing and simulation program, the cost-effectiveness and speed make it an attractive option for industries that require rapid prototyping, new product development, and material optimization.
